Building a Stronger Northside: Why Community Leadership Matters More Than Ever

For more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside families, youth, seniors, and community partners across Jacksonville’s Northside. Every conversation, every neighborhood meeting, every moment spent listening has reinforced one truth: our community is strongest when we build it together.

District 10 is home. It’s where our stories live, where our children grow, and where our future is shaped. And right now, our future depends on leadership that is present, accountable, and committed to delivering real results — not just promises.

Putting People Before Politics

My campaign is rooted in a simple principle: Promise Over Party. People Over Politics.   That means every decision, every initiative, and every policy must begin with one question: How does this help our neighbors?

Whether it’s expanding access to healthcare, strengthening youth programs, improving public safety, or ensuring families have the resources they need to thrive, the focus remains the same — serving people first.

The future of District 10 depends on the opportunities we create today. Our young people deserve safe spaces, mentorship, job training, and programs that help them discover their purpose. When we invest in youth, we invest in stronger families, safer neighborhoods, and a more resilient community.

I’ve spent years partnering with local organizations to connect thousands of residents with food, housing support, employment opportunities, and healthcare services. These aren’t just programs — they’re lifelines. And they’re proof that when we work together, we can create meaningful change.
